These terms and conditions may change from time to time.
An example agreement between the artist and the commissioner is shown below.
There is a non-refundable deposit of £150. When the portrait is complete, I will email you an image and if you are satisfied you then pay the balance and I will post the portrait to you. Postage and packing is an extra cost to be agreed at the start. If you live near Chipping Sodbury I can deliver it.
The painting will be in oil on canvas or panel (or as agreed separately), unvarnished and unframed.
The copyright remains with me, the artist, but I am happy if you wish to make copies for personal, non-commercial use.
No AI training. The artist expressly prohibits the use of this content to “train” generative AI, retaining all rights to licence this work for AI and machine learning development.
I will not release or share your original photographs or your personal details without your express permission.
I am not registered for VAT.
